Buffery™ Brand

The word "Buffery" is a coined term. There is the suffix “-ery” that means “the condition of being” attached to the root word “buff” which means muscular, large, stout. Therefore, Buffery is the condition of being buff & muscular. Do you have this condition? If so, then our clothing could be for you!

Buffery™-Flex Uniforms™ is a proudly American brand with severe "Maple Fever" working in a global economy. Our home office ("The Buffery Bunker"), design, and shipping are in upstate New York with principle manufacturing at "The Temple of Fine Tailoring" in Rochester, NY (one of only three remaining suit factories in the United States). We also have manufacturing in Pennsylvania.

Since we’re an apparel company, we have fitness models actually wear clothes and not run around practically nude. Aspiring models these days tend to focus on what a brand could for THEM and that’s no way to get hired.

Robert Jeffery, LLC is the parent company of the brand Buffery™-Flex Uniforms™.

Co-founders R. Jeffery Diduch and Biff Boswell first teamed up in 2012 and finally launched Robert Jeffery, LLC - using the first two names of the designer - as a formal company in 2019. Jeffery brought to the table the technical design and manufacturing while Biff brought the marketing, operations, and strategy.

Products & Sizing

The Second Skin silhouette is the signature style for Buffery™-Flex Uniforms™. It's a very tailored, contoured, modern fit designed to conform to your body and move with you. The soft, stretchy fabric and anatomical design is free moving and form flattering, especially on muscular men.

V-Core Fit is a revolutionary sizing system designed just for Buffery™-Flex Uniforms™ and the V-taper of the bodybuilder that wears them. It takes both the circumference of your chest and your navel and is tailored to use the least fabric possible so as to not rob you of your gains under baggy clothes. 

With unlimited funding and no regard for the environment we could make and stock all the products in all the possible size and color combinations, even if someone never buys them. That would be incredibly expensive, wasteful, and bad for the environment.

Made to Order is waiting to make a reasonably popular size and color combination until there's a specific buyer for it. Because it's popular, this can usually be returned for a refund and quickly resold to someone else. No waste, no loss.

Custom and Made to Measure are either altered specifically to one particular customer or made with such personalized style and color choices as to appeal to only that one customer. And when a customer knows exactly what they need and want, it won't matter if it's a final sale, because they are very happy with it. =)

Our garments are not stapled, glued, or Velcroed together! They're also not made by children or slaves. It takes time for quality clothing to be made in safe, fair working conditions. The longer it takes to put together, the longer it will last!

Order & Payments

Frankly, we'll take your money practically any way you want to give it us! We accept: Amazon Pay (even through Alexa!), American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Elo, JCB, Google Pay, MasterCard, PayPal, Shop Pay, Venmo, and Visa as well as our Buffery™ Digital Gift Card. We also accept two of the most popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The recipient of a Buffery™ Digital Gift Card will be sent an email notification with a button link to a unique code. Redeem and use your gift card by entering that code during Checkout in the same field you enter in discount/promo codes. The amount available on your gift card will be applied to your cart balance. We do not issue physical gift cards. Digital gift cards are not reloadable & do not have any additional fees. You may use multiple gift cards at Checkout.

Local and federal (American) taxes for online transactions are based on your shipping address, as required by applicable laws. Applicable tax will be collected if your order is being delivered to anywhere in New York State – because the Empire ALWAYS collects.

International taxes and duties will not be charged or collected by us - you'll have to deal with your own government.

Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to the shipment of that order, if it is not a Custom or Made to Measure order. If you have already received a shipping confirmation with a tracking number, then we are not able to cancel the order since it's already on its way to you.

As a veteran-owned company we're proud to offer a 10% discount to active duty, veteran, & retired military service members. We're also grateful for our first responders in law enforcement, fire, and EMS and they, too, can get 10% off! Discount codes can apply to published price reductions on the site. However, our e-commerce system provider will only allow one discount code to be applied at a time on the Checkout page.

Therefore, it's up to you to decide which discount (military, first time subscriber, product bundle, etc.) you want to use.

Either keep the one that's automatically generated, or use a discount code you already have and replace it on the Checkout page.

If your promo code won’t apply or you get an error message, check whether the following applies to you:

-You’ve already used the code. Most of our promo codes can only be used once, so if you’ve ever used the code in the past then it won’t work again.

-The items aren’t eligible. Check the terms and conditions of the code, and make sure the items in your cart aren’t excluded items. 

-The code has been entered incorrectly. Make sure you've entered the code exactly as it appears, including dashes or special characters (capitalization doesn't matter).

-The code has expired. Check the expiration date of the code, as some of them run for a limited time. Once they expire, they can't be reissued. 

If the problem doesn't involve any of the above issues and you're still having trouble applying your discount code, please Contact Us and we'll look into the issue for you. 

In order to look out for the environment and be mindful of waste, some products/sizes will be made-to-order meaning you can pre-order a product that is out of stock.

Payment will be taken upon placing your order because we'll immediately slice up the expensive fabric just for you. The estimated timeline and shipment date will be posted on the product page or emailed to you after you complete your order and the production is scheduled.

Any ‘Sold Out’ item cannot be bought.

Shipping Policy

Free shipping on all orders in the continental United States! Orders take 2-4 business days to process before they are shipped. Standard shipping takes between 2 to 10 business days anywhere in the USA and Canada, International destinations between 10 to 14 business days. Express shipping options and discounted worldwide shipping rates available at Checkout.

Items ordered that are In Stock should be dispatched and shipped in 2-4 business days.

We hold limited stock in our factory/warehouse and sometimes your order may be placed in a queue to be manufactured, if this is the case we will try and inform you when you can expect delivery.

We ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions throughout year, so sign up for Buffery™ VIP for exclusive deals!

We've partnered with the four major carriers: DHL, FedEx, UPS, and the good ol' USPS. Our shipping rates vary from country to country, depend on the size (weight) of the order, and will be calculated by available carriers at Checkout. Standard shipping takes between 2 to 10 business days anywhere in the USA and Canada, International destinations between 10 to 14 business days. Express shipping options and discounted worldwide shipping rates available at Checkout.

We do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time and to the right address, however, once we hand it off to the shipping carriers, the order is literally out of our hands. Recently, service disruptions have happened due to the pandemic, lockdowns, increased volume, and staffing issues. Other historical disruptions have occurred due to severe weather (from snow storms to hurricanes) and shipping worker union strikes. We cannot be held responsible for conditions beyond our control including incorrect addresses provided at Checkout. 

We ship every order with carrier insurance. However, carriers will only insure a package up until "delivery." If you're plagued by "porch pirates" or regularly feud with your carrier, it's best to add Route Shipping Insurance during Checkout to protect your purchase. (Route cannot be added after Checkout.)

Route will replace your order if anything bad happens to it. If your order was lost/stolen and you bought Route Insurance at Checkout, then you can file a claim here: Route Insurance Claims.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns can be made within 30 days of the order shipment date for refunds to process to the original form of payment.

Start your return online and follow the instructions provided. Return shipping can either be deducted from the refund amount or you can buy your own postage and shipping insurance. You will receive an email confirmation upon our receipt of your return package.
