Buffery® Return & Exchange Policy - Please make sure to read our full return policy below before returning any products.
Our Return Policy
Customer satisfaction is our goal. Buffery® Flex Uniforms™ will accept all returns in their original condition for a full refund of the amount of the initial purchase less shipping and fees in the currency in which the item was priced only with the original receipt. In the event that any unused product does not meet your expectations, it can be returned within 30 days of the order delivery date for refunds to process to the original form of payment for Full Priced orders and 15 days for Sale/Discounted Products of 15% or more.
Please allow up to 10-14 days for us to receive and process your return. You will receive an email notification upon the completion of return processing. For orders sent from U.S. territories or military bases (APO/DPO/FPO), please allow up to 4 weeks for shipping and processing your return.
For Pop-Up Shop/Expo/Trunk Show Purchases
Products purchased from a Buffery® event/pop-up shop will be credited with store credit in the full amount or exchanged for another size/color/product (subject to availability) only for the duration of the event and only with the original receipt according to our Return & Exchange Policy. (Pop-up shop prices and sales are valid only for the duration of the event and only at that physical location.)
Our Exchange Policy
If you would like to make an exchange, you may do so as long as it is for the same item (at the same price) in a different size and you meet the Conditions for a Return.
- Exchanged item(s) must be received within 10 days from the day you receive your return label or the exchange may be cancelled
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to an exchange/return
- Shop Pay Installments, Klarna, Afterpay, PayPal Pay Later options (Pay-in-4 and Pay Monthly), and gift card orders are not eligible for exchanges
Conditions for a Return
A return can only be accepted if the following conditions are met:
- New, undamaged, resalable condition (you wouldn't want a shirt with deodorant marks on it, right?)
- Unwashed
- Unworn – No makeup, deodorant marks, perfume/cologne scents, smoke, animal hair on the product
- With original tags – Please decide if you are completely satisfied with your item before you remove the tags
- In original packaging
- Unless it's an exchange any promotional items must also be returned, or the retail value of those items will be deducted from the refund amount
- No refunds for services already rendered, including, but not limited to, gift wrapping, shipping, insurance
Exclusions
The following cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Personalized items: Altered, Made to Measure, Custom ("Other-See Notes"), monogrammed
- Holiday/seasonal décor
- Intimate apparel – underwear, socks, leggings, hats, beanies, balaclavas, face masks/face coverings (due to hygienic safety)
- Stagewear - bodybuilding posing trunks and classic briefs. (Physique boardshorts are Exchange Only.)
- Jewelry, pins, cufflinks
- Gift cards
- Digital downloads
- Clearance & “Final Sale” items
- Services already performed – Gift wrapping, Shipping, Shipping insurance, etc.
For Gift Returns
Gifts may be returned according to our Return & Exchange Policy. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital gift card will be sent to you by email.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and s/he will find out about your return.
Note: Christmas gifts, marked as a gift when purchased, may be returned up to January 15 of the following year.
Route Package Protection Policy
Please note that orders which do not include Route Package Protection will not be covered by Buffery® Flex Uniforms™ in the event of loss or theft. If you do purchase Route Package Protection, your order is 100% covered in the event of loss, theft, or damage to your order. You may purchase this at Checkout. If your order was lost/stolen and you bought Route Package Protection at Checkout, then you can file a claim here: Route Insurance Claims.
Regarding Fiat and Cryptocurrencies
As an American company the official currency of Buffery® Flex Uniforms™ is the United States Dollar (USD). We may partner with Payment Processors who will accept a different currency, convert it to USD (maybe for a fee), and then pass it to us on your behalf as payment for our goods and services.
Refunds would be a reversal of that process and the purchase amount would be refunded in USD and then converted back to the original currency, regardless of any fluctuations of the value of that currency in relation to the USD since the original transaction.
Additional Costs
Please note we are not responsible for paying any customs charges (import duty or tax) on any returns. You will be responsible for all costs and charges associated with returning your order. We recommend you return your order via a tracked shipping method, or request a proof of postage receipt, as we cannot refund lost returns.
Store Credit
Store credit is monetary value issued to your customer account. Unlike gift cards or discount codes, store credit is not transferable and is linked directly to the customer to whom it’s issued, either with or without an expiration date.
Store credit can be viewed from a customer profile, or from an order page when issued as a refund. Customers can either spend store credit at the Buffery® store until the balance is gone in store (at an expo pop-up), or online at checkout when logged in to their customer account or with Shop Pay. Your credit will be available to use once your return has been received at the Buffery® Bunker.
Warranty & Defective Merchandise
We stand behind the quality of every product we sell. All Buffery® Flex Uniforms™ apparel and accessories are warranted against defects in material or workmanship for 60 days from the date of shipment. Warranty is only valid with proof of purchase. The Buffery® warranty program does not cover any defects due to improper fit or use.
What is deemed defective or damaged?
We are eager to stand behind the quality of our pieces. If you experience any of the following issues, they may be covered under our warranty policy:
- Holes
- Rips/tears
- Logo/Label issues
- Manufacturing Errors
- Missing features
- Other one-of-a-kind instances as deemed by our support team
Dye Process Disclaimer: Our pieces may undergo a dyeing/finishing process to gain the color palettes that are selected for each launch. The various dyes may slightly alter the fit or feel of the material. This may also impact the compression or stretch of the fabric as well. Therefore, items of the same style may slightly vary between colors.
Color Variations: Please keep in mind some product descriptions may share possible variations. The combination of pigments used to create each color may also alter the color of the item in different styles of lighting. Different items in the same color may also vary in shades as the dye may show differently in various fabrics (i.e., Flex Slacks with a shirt from a different collection). Although we do our best to display each item in the most accurate color, items displayed in studio lighting may slightly vary from indoor lighting or natural lighting. We are not responsible for any misconceptions caused by customizations in the color display of the devices used to browse our site.
Sheerness and Care Guide Sheerness: Please note that some pieces may include sheerness at full stretch in the description. We do not consider sheerness to be a defect, so please be sure to return any unwanted items due to sheerness within the returns timeframe.
Care Guide: Each Product page lists the care guide for the item. Failure to follow the care guide may void the Warranty Policy.
